yeah, zero downtime. the code new code is loaded in the VM on the fly. I don't use long-lived connections (or websockets) yet, but if I did, you can even do updates and deploys without cutting any connections using the method I'm using now

Getting used to wrangling Erlang / Elixir releases and hot upgrades. I think I've done 30 hot deploys in the past couple days after putting PrivateLog online.

GitHub was down? Too bad I’m running my own git server. :P

Wantedly (basically LinkedIn but for Japan) just send me a message because they’re interested in me. Via their own system. Nice to see that they’re dogfooding.

(that was just the thumbnail that dropzone.js gave me, haha.) Hm. That's an interesting idea -- gradually loading pictures as you scroll. I'll put it on the "maybe" list after I get some more things done.
