@matigo Yeah. Although gas is really expensive here (usually over 200/L) and electricity not as much, so they're getting more popular. Still not as common, so sometimes it's a bit expensive to do basic repairs, but we'll see what happens. Probably will be buying in the next 3-4 years.
@matigo Yeah, I think the Fit is a good size for what we need to use it for now -- just occasionally going to the supermarket, etc. Maybe when the kids grow up. Although the way things are looking I might not be able to get a gas car then…
@matigo Wow! Awesome! I'd like to get a two-seater sometime but my wife reminds me that it isn't very convenient, especially for the kids. (Not to mention that we would probably need to build a covered garage for it because, you know, weather, hah). We're going to be getting my wife's mother's Toyota Passo as a hand-me-down in a couple months (she's getting a new car). It's not much but it'll work for now while we wait for a decent electric car to become more available…
@matigo I saw a post about you thinking of getting a コパン?? Did you actually get it? Haha
@hazardwarning Hah. Yeah. Today is supposed to be 36, low is 29. It's been like this for a bit over a week now. Need to get out of this place…
@hazardwarning Hi! That sounds nice! We're a bit hot over here but other than that everything isn't too bad.
@matigo no, not back to the US. I don't really ever see myself going back there… Naoko's parents are in Yakushima, so if we do move we'd probably go somewhere on the island (lots of nature!) or somewhere that has better access like Fukuoka
