I'm just using it as a measure because we use the same upload code :)

//

I know, I'm sorry about this. Unfortunately I can't figure out anything I can do from here to make it work. Can you upload multiple photos on 10C?

@skematica You'll have to invite them to your timeline. It's a bit inaccessible at the time -- click the timeline name, then go to "access control". You'll be able to invite people by e-mail address there. I have an idea I'm working on, where you send the link and then the other person enters their e-mail address. Goes back to you, then you can approve/reject the request. But it isn't implemented yet. Sorry.. :-(

I'll look in to it. If it isn't letting you upload multiple images, it could be a browser issue because I believe I am using the multiple file picker…

spoiler alert: we're working together. Shh, keep it secret.

Maybe I should have done the math [wolframalpha.com].

A 20 kilowatt-hour change over the span of a year would make a 0.0000000001083% change in the world electricity consumption (that's based on 2010 numbers! and it doesn't include any other energy)

// @japchap

@japchap All this said, the biggest impact you'll have is just on your electricity bill. Don't trick yourself into thinking it'll actually benefit the environment any more than %0.0001 or whatever :P ;-)

//

@japchap http://large.stanford.edu/courses/2010/ph240/sun1/ this research says 80-90%, but still, that means just using the battery incurs a 10-20% increase in your total energy consumption. Theoretically. Like said, the OS will usually operate in a lower power mode when it's on battery, so that might cancel out the battery inefficiency.

//

@japchap mm. There are meters that you can buy to monitor the exact amount of electricity you're using, but I bet it's pretty much negligible. I'm just saying that while charging your battery, not 100% of that energy is being stored in the battery -- only a fraction of that.

//

@japchap Battery is inefficient, you're incurring waste while charging. The most efficient way of using a laptop is to only use it while plugged in, and unplug it just in case when you aren't. That said, that's not the best for "battery health"
