@matigo :) sounds good. Not much going on here. Changed jobs recently. Looks like I’m going to the US at least 2 times this year though, once for my brother’s wedding and another time for the AWS event in Las Vegas

@matigo Spending a year at my current company was very illuminating -- I have a much better picture about what I'm worth and how much I should be charging for my time when doing freelance work (if I ever to)

@matigo I'm actually leaving my current job next month, so this next week is a dry run for the team to see what information that's locked up in me. I tried to be good about writing documentation along the way, but sometimes I either forgot, things changed and documentation got out of sync, or the documentation exists but the team doesn't know where in the wiki it is

@JeremyCherfas :) you know, limited time and attention, and work was taking up a lot of it. I'm taking this week off for real -- signed out of slack, don't have my work computer, etc etc.

@matigo she's doing well! She's out running WordCamp Tokyo at the moment so it's me and lisa and hiroki at home right now, hah.
@joanna thanks! My wife's water broke way too early, so that was really scary, but they took good care of her and the baby after he was born.
