The thing is that if I fail, I have to wait a month before I can take it again (and another $150)

At least all of the questions are either single-answer multiple-choice or multiple-answer multiple-choice, which means no wishy-washiness with having to write answers down and have other humans read them. Which means that there are clear-cut wrong and right answers.

I suppose it's the unknown-ness of it all that I'm most anxious about.

Compare to the "AWS Fundamentals" domain which is only weighted at 10%, but has 7 bullet points.

The "Designing and Developing" domain is counted as 40%, so it's the heaviest weighted domain, but the description is very sparse:

"Identify the appropriate techniques to code a cloud solution. Content may include the following:

  • Configure an AMI
  • Programming with AWS APIs"

AWS Certification practice exam is paid for. I'll probably take it day after tomorrow, when I can get myself some really high-quality quiet time. I'm incredibly anxious, even though it's relatively cheap and is just a practice exam… I know the AWS stuff that I use and have been using for the past 3-4 years, but it's the stuff that I don't use that worries me -- DynamoDB, SWS, etc. I've studied and read through most of the docs, but we'll see what happens.

It is indeed.

No. Web only. I may make an Apple TV app for it at some point for the custom screen saver slide show things. I may make an iOS app for native push notifications at some time in the future, but we'll see what happens.

"Initial Public Release" milestone is at 60% :) Aiming for a late March release!
