@matigo Ah, fixed it by switching from ibus to fcitx. Heh.

@matigo strange. for some reason, it positions itself at the bottom left corner of the window and not the cursor position. time to debug! Yay.

What's great about Linux is that I can map the keyboard to be whatever I want it to be
